Who Is Ken Cade?

Kurk Edwards, aka Ken Cade, is founder of Joy Jem CDC is called to carry on the legacy of his late father, Reverend Eddie Edwards who started the community organization, Joy of Jesus. Like his father, he is a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel who shares the message of ministry at churches and community organizations across America.

Kurk has been preaching and teaching the Word of God for over 20 years. His passion for community ministry is evident as demonstrated by his focus on feeding, clothing, and housing veterans as well as creating job opportunities for underserved communities.

The Lord called him to use his middle name in the Music industry, from Kincaid to Ken Cade which is defined as: Battled warrior, Loves freedom, Adventurous, Creative, Passionate, Peacemaker, Giver and Helper, which helped him discover his unique purpose, call and identity, God downloaded divinely inspired songs into Ken Cade to set those that are in bondage free from the evil forces prevalent in our world!

It is the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit through the lyrics of the songs that brings freedom! Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.”
